Squirrel Scouts (ages 4-6)

Squirrel Scouts are young people usually aged between four and six years old. They belong to the first and youngest Section in the Scouting family. Young people can join Squirrel Scouts from their fourth birthday. They can move to the next Section, Beaver Scouts, between five years nine months and six years six months.

Easily recognised by their distinctive red sweatshirts, Squirrels will gather to grow and learn their way through lots of different games and activities. They usually meet together once a week in a Squirrel Scout Drey.

Squirrel Scouts take part in outdoors activities, fun, games, badges, laughter, and so much more to help our youngest members learn the skills they need for life)
